Biography
Aboubakr Maaroufi is a personal injury attorney at Bogin, Munns & Munns He represents injured clients in Kissimmee, Orlando, and throughout Central Florida. His practice focuses on car accidents, truck accidents, motorcycle accidents, slip and fall accidents, wrongful death claims, and premises liability cases.
Aboubakr works closely with individuals and families who have suffered injuries because of someone else’s negligence. He helps clients pursue compensation for medical bills, lost income, pain and suffering, and other related losses. Throughout each case, he emphasizes clear communication, practical advice, and personal attention.
Before joining the firm, Aboubakr spent eight years defending one of the nation’s largest insurance companies in personal injury lawsuits. As a result, he gained valuable insight into how insurers assess claims and prepare their defense strategies. He now puts that experience to work for injured clients and uses it to anticipate insurance company tactics.
Aboubakr earned his B.A. in Legal Studies from the University of Central Florida and his J.D. from Barry University Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law. He has been a member of The Florida Bar since 2013 and is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
He is a member of the Orange County Bar Association, completed advanced training through the National Institute for Trial Advocacy, and holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter designation. He has also received the Orange County Bar Association Pro Bono Award.
Originally from Casablanca, Morocco, Aboubakr is fluent in Arabic and French. He is proud to serve clients from many different backgrounds throughout Central Florida. Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Stephanie, and their two daughters, Sofia and Sarah. He also enjoys traveling and following soccer.
