At Bogin, Munns & Munns, we’ve always believed that giving back to our community is just as important as the work we do inside the courtroom. Whether it’s through service, mentorship, or simply showing up for others, we know that building strong communities starts with investing in the next generation.
That belief recently took center stage on the football field.
Spencer Munns—one of our own—spent this football season coaching the Lake Nona Chiefs, a youth flag football team that didn’t just play with heart, but made it all the way to the 2025 Under the Lights National Championship. This national tournament, held at the prestigious IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, brought together 125 league champion teams from across the country, including 30 elite teams in the Chiefs’ age division.
Under Spencer’s leadership, the Chiefs represented the Lake Nona community with pride, grit, and sportsmanship. And while they came up short of the national title, the experience left an impact that extended far beyond the scoreboard.
“It’s never just about winning,” said Spencer. “It’s about preparing these kids for life—teaching them how to work together, how to lead, how to get back up when they fall. And most of all, how to support one another on and off the field.”
The Under the Lights league is a national flag football organization for kids in kindergarten through 8th grade, welcoming both boys and girls of all skill levels. The focus is on confidence-building, competition, and character—values that mirror our approach at Bogin, Munns & Munns.
We’re incredibly proud of what the Lake Nona Chiefs accomplished—not just for the wins they earned, but for the lessons they learned. Teamwork. Discipline. Resilience. And the power of community.
The future is bright, and it’s being shaped right here in our neighborhoods—on school campuses, in local parks, and under the Friday night lights. We’re honored to play a role in that growth, and we’ll continue to support the people and programs building tomorrow’s leaders today.
Here’s to the next generation—and to the coaches, mentors, and community members who lift them up every step of the way.
