Biography

Katherine A. Barski brings nearly two decades of experience helping individuals and families plan for the future with clarity and confidence. Her practice focuses on estate planning, estate and trust administration, real estate, and taxation, allowing her to provide well-rounded guidance tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.

Katherine was inspired to pursue a legal career by her parents, who emphasized the importance of education and opportunity. She initially studied accounting—an area that continues to strengthen her legal work today, particularly in complex estate and tax-related matters.

Before entering private practice, Katherine served for four years with the federal government, including time clerking for federal judges and working with the United States Department of Justice in Washington, D.C. in both the commercial litigation and international trade groups. She later spent nearly two decades practicing in South Florida, where she built a strong foundation advising clients on estate planning and administration matters.

Known for her thoughtful and client-centered approach, Katherine believes one of her greatest strengths is her ability to listen. She takes pride in simplifying complex legal concepts and guiding clients through important decisions in a way that is clear, approachable, and empowering.

Outside of the office, Katherine enjoys staying active and exploring the outdoors with her schnauzer. An avid runner, she is on a personal mission to complete races in all fifty states.
