Biography
Jacqueline LaVerne is a consumer bankruptcy attorney at Bogin, Munns & Munns serving clients in Orlando, Clermont, Kissimmee, Leesburg, Melbourne, Ocala, Orange City, The Villages, Titusville, and throughout Central Florida. Her practice focuses on Chapter 7 bankruptcy and Chapter 13 bankruptcy for individuals and families facing serious financial stress. She helps clients address overwhelming debt, creditor harassment, wage garnishment, foreclosure concerns, and other financial challenges. Her goal is to help them move toward a fresh financial start.
Jacqueline understands that the decision to file for bankruptcy is often stressful and deeply personal. She takes a compassionate, client-focused approach and works to make every client feel heard, supported, and informed from the start. Clients often come to her feeling overwhelmed by debt and uncertainty. She helps them understand their options, feel more at ease with the process, and move forward with greater confidence.
Jacqueline developed her interest in bankruptcy law while attending Barry University Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law. During law school, she completed bankruptcy-focused coursework and worked in a Bankruptcy Pro Se Clinic externship at the Federal Bankruptcy Courthouse in downtown Orlando. There, she helped provide guidance to individuals who had filed or were preparing to file for bankruptcy. That experience gave her valuable hands-on insight into consumer debt relief and bankruptcy procedure.
After earning her Juris Doctor, Jacqueline began her legal career handling Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy matters, along with related debt relief issues, including student loan matters. She practices in Florida and before the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
Jacqueline values the opportunity to use her legal training to help people through difficult financial situations. She is known for connecting with clients, listening closely to their concerns, and explaining complex legal issues in a clear and approachable way. Her goal is to help clients resolve debt problems, regain stability, and take the next step toward a better financial future.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies, with a minor in Hospitality, from the University of Central Florida. She is a member of the American Bar Association and The Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division.
Outside the office, Jacqueline enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, planning events, and supporting the University of Central Florida.
