Emma Boggs

Biography

Emma Boggs is a criminal defense attorney at Bogin, Munns & Munns. She represents clients in Orlando, Kissimmee, Clermont, and throughout Central Florida. Her practice focuses on criminal defense, including felony charges, misdemeanors, and traffic-related offenses. Through a hands-on approach, Emma works closely with her clients to protect their rights, explain their options, and help them face the legal system with confidence.

Emma began her legal career as an Assistant Public Defender in the Ninth Judicial Circuit. There, she represented clients in Orange and Osceola Counties and handled hundreds of criminal cases. As a result, she developed a strong foundation in courtroom advocacy, case strategy, plea negotiations, and litigation. More importantly, this experience showed her how high the stakes can be for individuals accused of a crime. Today, she uses that insight to build thoughtful defense strategies and pursue the best possible outcome in every case.

Before entering the legal profession, Emma served ten years on active duty in the United States Marine Corps. Initially, she worked as a hydraulics mechanic on UH-1N Huey helicopters in a Search and Rescue unit. Later, she transitioned into an intelligence specialist role. During her service, she completed deployments to Asia and Africa, where she strengthened her discipline, focus, and attention to detail. These qualities continue to guide her work as an attorney.

While serving on active duty, Emma earned her bachelor’s degree from Northern Arizona University. She then went on to earn her Juris Doctor from Barry University School of Law in 2023. In addition, she received the Sister Linda Bevilacqua Award for her commitment to community service during law school.
