Biography
Being a transactional real estate attorney, I get to enjoy the more pleasant side of the law. Being able to help people buy and sell houses so they can make homes is a very rewarding experience.
I qualified as a Barrister in the United Kingdom in 2007 with a practice area focusing on civil law. Pretty much everything that wasn’t criminal law could land on my desk. I became dual-qualified as a Barrister-Solicitor in 2010 and moved into an in-house counsel position focusing on consumer credit matters. In 2011, I realized my life-long goal of moving to the United States to pursue a legal career. During law school, I became licensed in New York and following graduation became licensed in Florida. Since interning at a real estate law firm, I have focused my practice on real estate law, from transactional matters in residential and commercial to condominium and homeowner association law. I have also had experience with many of the areas of law associated with real estate, such as wills and trusts, business formation, and estate and probate.
Diligence, organization, and being pro-active are my greatest strengths as an attorney and are things that allow me to instill a confidence in my clients that allows them to not have to worry about their legal matters. Having a dependable and responsive attorney by your side is a must, particularly in deadline-orientated real estate transactions.
From a very young age I have always known that I wanted to be an attorney, and particularly an attorney in the United States. I’m not certain if it was growing up around American popular culture or just one of those things but my pathway to a career in law was never going to be deviated from.
My first adventure in to the world of work was as an overseas travel representative for a vacation travel company. I worked for several months in Italy, France and Spain. I have also been fortunate enough to be able to travel to many places around the globe, including Russia, South Africa, and a large part of Europe. I also worked in a number of retail management positions prior to attending University.
I have a passion for cooking. Spending time in the kitchen and tasting the fruits of your labor has always had a calming and relaxing effect on me, so I guess my second choice career would have been a chef. I enjoy soccer, football, and attempting to play golf, but my greatest passion is being a husband and father for my wonderful family.
