I love solving problems and when scholastically I excelled at law-related classes, I took that as my chosen path.
I have participated in scholastic internships at Central Brevard Legal Services and the Florida Supreme Court. My very first job had me working as an associate in a Brevard County firm in its litigation department and I have continued in the legal field ever since.
It is a double-edged sword, but my greatest strength is that I care and believe in my clients’ cases.
My favorite things about practicing law are researching and writing on different topics, especially when I can make a novel yet sound argument.
I enjoy traveling and I have lived overseas for a number of years, first in Azores, Portugal, then Cairo, Egypt. I was once part of a three-person crew on a 15 meter sailboat that sailed from Belgium to the Azores. Last fall I spent six weeks walking the Camino in Spain. If I did not practice law I would have pursued clothing design or architecture.
I have a 13-year-old Jack Russell Terrier who should be in show business.
